		<description>Jamie,

Good word. My folks were not openly affectionate when I was growing up. The displays of &quot;parental love&quot; were sometimes infrequent, and colored by more frequent arguments and such.

Kim (my wife) and I have made our open affection a common part of everyday life in our home. When Kim and the girls get home from school each day, I make sure that my wife is the first one I greet. My daughters know that I love them dearly, but their Mom is the love of my life. :)
